INTRO:

I love dumplings and pot stickers!

But honestly, making dumplings from scratch does take some effort. When I am too lazy or too busy to make dumplings myself, I opt for frozen dumplings bought from grocery stores. They don’t taste as good as the home-made ones, but I’ve found that frozen dumplings are becoming very accessible (my local supermarket and Costco carries a couple of different varieties now). The taste has also improved quite a bit. There are a few ways to cook those frozen dumplings. the most common and easiest way is probably just throw them in boiling water for ~ 10 min. But we can make frozen dumpling more exciting! It’s actually pretty EASY to turn frozen dumplings into GOLDEN CRISPY POT STICKERS with just a little flour and water! This Recipe is for (frozen) dumpling lovers who want to spice up their dumplings. Make sure you also check out the G.E.M. section for more ideas on turning the ordinary dumplings into delicious pot stickers.

If you want to make the dumplings from scratch, I have added couple links for great recipes at the end of this post.
