Quick and Easy Black Pepper Sauce Recipe for Steaks. This sauce is rich, buttery, sweet, tangy, and Peppery with caramelized onions! A Must try! Make sure you also try one of our most popular grill steak recipe with WASABI!

SHORT VERSION:

In a pot, melt Butter (1T), medium heat. Add chopped onion (1/4), cook until lightly caramelize. Add Water (4T) (or Beef Stock), Black Pepper (2T), Soy Sauce (4T), Sugar (2T), Milk (2T), and A1 Steak sauce (1T). Bring everything to boil, cook for 3 min. Done!

TIP:

Tip.1

Add corn starch water (1t corn starch + 1T water) if you prefer thick sauce.

Tip.2

Milk and butter (replace with regular oil) are optional; remove them if you don’t like dairy products.

Tip.3

Add some sugar when cooking onion can speed up the caramelization process.

Grill a steak first, and use the same pan to prepare the sauce. This way we can add steak flavor into the sauce.

Replace Water with Beef stock (see instruction for dilution on the can).

COOKWARE:

  • Small Pot, Pan, or Cast Iron Skillet (good for both grilling steak and making sauce afterwards.)
  • Knife for chopping Onions.

  • Onion – 1/4

Sauce/condiments/Spices:

  • Crushed Black Pepper
  • Butter – 1T, other types of oil will work fine.
  • Soy Sauce -4 T
  • Water – 4 T
  • Sugar – 2 T
  • (optional) Milk – 2T
  • A1 Sauce – 1 T

BEFORE COOKING:

Chop Onion in small pieces.
